A Square for CAP's Grandmother

Here's the square I knit for Crazy Aunt Purl's Grandmother

Wool-Ease in Color Wood 232, done in Moss stitch on US #7 needles. I liked working with this yarn so much, I've been kicking around the idea of making something like the handwarmers in Knitty out of it. Needs a little more thought. Plus, I'm already committed to making 8 million pairs of socks, more or less.

See the V in the varigated colors? I didn't plan that.

The book is a mystery I'm currently reading, just for scale. Plus, the dark wool on my dark couch wasn't a very interesting picture, quite honestly. I think I'll need to pick up something else by Marion Babson before I can make a verdict. This mystery was atypical of most mysteries I've read. I was halfway through the book before there was a murder! Now they are dropping like flies, which is almost as strange. I do like the cats in the story, however.

Milo says, its just too hard, being a cat.

I was wondering if you have ever attempted to do a front or back post (crochet of course). If so any tips on how to do it?

I like the colour of that wool too. Nice autumn colours.

LOL at Milo!
